How do I change 'acknowledged on' date within an Issue?
The date of ‘Acknowledged on' is dependent on your system configurations setting for ‘Acknowledgement of receipt setting'; this can be the date of receipt or the date of first reply, and can be chosen by your administrator(s) in ‘Configurations’.
According to the European Whistleblowing Directive, after sending the acknowledgement of receipt, you must respond to the reporter within 90 days.
Within SpeakUp, Issue managers and Issue handlers can get an email reminder if an Issue is still open 76 days after the day of ‘acknowledgement of receipt’. Therefore, which date has been chosen in 'Configurations' will impact the date of this reminder.
It is also possible to change the ‘Acknowledged on’ date manually within an Issue by Issue manager and Issue handler, just keep in mind that this will impact the counting date of the email reminder. The system allows Issue manager and Issue handler to manually create an issue, and this feature allows them to manually fill in the field ‘Acknowledged on’ and correct it later if needed.
