Where can I find the phone numbers for a Reporter to call?

Each country has a local phone number for reporters to call. When calling the local number of their country, reporters will be asked to dial the organisation code of your Channel. Please make sure to include this code in your communication material. More details on the organisation code can be found here: Where can I find the URL, QR code, and organisation code?

To download the phone number overview:
  1. Click on “Access management” on the menu and go to “Channels

  2. Click on “Download overview” on the top right corner of the page; you will download an excel file Screenshot 2025-02-07 at 14.52.41

Phone messages are always transcribed and or translated by human translators. In order to allow Reporters to leave messages via the phone line, make sure your Channel is set up with human translation (Machine Preferred, Human Only or Human Added). If your setting is Machine Only or No translation, phone message transcription will not be possible. Go to Overview of translation options for more information.

SpeakUp phone intake is available where possible, either via local numbers to which local/national calling rates will apply, or via toll-free phone numbers. When calling a toll-free phone number from a mobile phone, local/national calling rates might apply. Also, the number might only be accessible from within the respective country or accessibility might be restricted to landlines. Supplier depends on the availability of phone lines provided by network providers and thus the availability, rate and phone numbers might be subject to change.
