How to clear my browser history?
A hard refresh clears your browser for a specific web page, which forces it to load the most recent version of that page. This can often resolve any functionality issues.
Here's how you can perform a hard refresh to force the browser to reload the latest version of the page:
Windows (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer)
-
Hold down the Control (Ctrl) key.
-
While holding it, press F5.
Mac (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge)
-
Hold down the Command and Shift keys.
-
While holding them, press R.
Safari (Mac)
Safari does not support a single-step hard refresh. Use the steps below:
-
From the menu bar, select Safari.
-
Select Clear History.
-
Choose your timeframe from the dropdown menu.
-
Select Clear History.
-
Refresh the page by selecting the Refresh button, or press Command and R.
If the problem persists and you are still experiencing functionality issues, try a time based clearing of your site data, cookies and cache:
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (Windows and Mac)
-
Open Settings.
-
Select Privacy and security (Chrome) or Privacy, search, and services (Edge).
-
Select Clear browsing data.
-
Set Time range to Last 24 hours.
-
Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
-
Select Clear data (Chrome) or Clear now (Edge).
Firefox (Windows and Mac)
-
Open Settings.
-
Select Privacy and Security.
-
Under History, select Clear History.
-
Set Time range to clear to Last 24 hours.
-
Select Cookies and Cache.
-
Select Clear Now.
Safari (Mac)
-
Select Safari from the menu bar.
-
Select Clear History.
-
Choose Today or Today and yesterday.
-
Select Clear History.
