Step 2 : Technical set-up
Technical implementation process
The technical setup of the SpeakUp system is handled by our onboarding specialist. Before implementation, ensure governance and intake structures are well-defined. This is crucial for proper system configuration, ensuring ease of use for your compliance team, employees, and other stakeholders.
Key Considerations Before Technical Implementation
System Name
Your system name, typically your company name, is a crucial aspect of the technical implementation that cannot be altered once configured. It is important to select a name that remains consistent going forward, as it will also form part of your URL.
Channel Name
Select an appropriate channel name such as "ethicsline," "raiseaconcern," or "supplierchannel." This name will be used consistently in all communications.
Admins of the System
Define who will have administrative access to the system. These admins will manage the SpeakUp platform and have access to make changes systemwide.
Languages
Decide how many languages to enable based on your reporter personas.
Additional Information from Reporter
To keep the reporting channel low barrier, avoid asking too many questions. Only include questions that are absolutely necessary to reduce friction for reporters.
Once these foundational elements are solid, the SpeakUp system can be created.
