How do I enable/disable receiving voice files?

As an Administrator, you can manage whether voice files from reporters are shared with you, along with the transcription of their messages.
 

This is a powerful feature you may want to give proper attention before enabling.

When this feature is activated, all voice recordings that are created via this channel are received with the message. Reporters are informed that their voice recording will be shared and they get the option to distort their voice. Please be aware that this decreases anonymity for voice messaging and might lead to less incoming reports. If received, you are responsible for transcript approval and managing voice file storage in the system.

How do I register transcript approval?

To enable receive voice files:

  1. Click on the tab “Channels” on the left side menu

  2. Select the Channel where you want to enable receive voice files

  3. You first have to enable voice messages under the tab “Reporter intake” (How do I enable/disable voice messages?)

  4. Once voice messages are enabled, you will have the option to select if you want to receive voice file. When the toggle is green, “receive voice files” is enabled

To disable receive voice files:

  1. Click on the tab “Channels” on the left side menu

  2. Select the Channel where you want to disable receive voice files

  3. Under the “Reporter Intake” tab, turn off the toggle for “Receive Voice Files”, as shown in the image. Screenshot 2025-02-26 at 14.36.28
