How do I make a user an Administrator?

Administrators can set up and customise the system through the Settings menu.

The Administrator role doesn't give access to Issues. To view or work on Issues, a user also needs an Issue role (What are the roles?).

To make a user an Administrator:

  1. Click on the "Settings" icon at the top right cornerTotal settings page
  2. Go to “System” in the menu, click on “Configuration” and then click on the “System access” tabadd admin
  3. Under 'Role: Administrator', search for the relevant user and click on “Add”add admin 2

To remove an Administrator:

  1. Return to the "Settings" menu, go to “System” then “Configuration” and open the “System access” tab:add admin

  2. Find the user you want to remove the Administrator role from, and click the "x" next to their name.
  3. Confirm the action by clicking "Remove" in the pop up window:remove admin-1

If your system also includes the Employee Hub, and employees submit disclosures directly via SpeakUp Paths, these employees will automatically have a SpeakUp account.

In this case, you can see here how to control user access to Issues.
