How do I customise the translation of the option list and field on the Reporter intake form?

The Reporter intake form is automatically translated into the language the reporter chooses. The original language of option list and field has to be in English.

The Reporter intake form is machine translated and may be prone to errors. You can customise the translation of the Reporter intake form.

To customise the translation of the option list:

1. Click on the Settings icon located in the top-right corner of the page
   
   
   
   

2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to “Forms” and select “Option lists”

3. Click on the option list you wish to customise the translation for

4. Click on “Download translation file” and open the downloaded excel file

   

5. Find the cell of the language option you would like to edit; insert the new translation into the appropriate cell; do not change anything in columns A and B and row 1

6. Save the file using command/ctrl + s

7. Go to the User interface system; on the same page that you downloaded the file, click on “Upload translation file;” select the file you just downloaded and edited; upload the file

2. Go to “Forms” then “Fields”
3. Click on the field you wish to customise the translation for
4. A right hand panel will appear; click on the “Translation” tab and click on “Download translation file”
   

5. Open the downloaded excel file; find the cell of the language option you would like to edit; insert the new translation into the appropriate cell; do not change anything in columns A and B and row 1

6. Save the file using command/ctrl + s

7. Go to the User interface system again; on the same page that you downloaded the file, click on “Upload translation file;” select the file you just downloaded and edited; upload the file
